Honey Sweet Treats Co ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you send an order request through our form, we collect what you type into it:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your phone number, birthday (month and day) and how you found us (all optional)
- Your event date, the treats you ask about, and whether you chose to receive news and specials
- The treat you are interested in, your event and delivery details, and any allergy or dietary information you add
- Inspiration images or files you upload with your request
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in standard server logs.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and confirm pricing, availability and details
- To prepare and deliver your order
- To keep basic order records and a customer list
- If you tick the box asking for news and specials, to email you (and text you, if you gave a phone number) occasional news, specials and holiday order reminders. Messages include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also reply STOP to a text.
- To understand where our customers come from, and to send a birthday treat idea if you shared your birthday and asked to hear from us
We only send marketing to people who ticked that box. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Your request is delivered to us by email through our website hosting provider. We share information only with service providers needed to run this website and handle your order, or when the law requires it.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads. Links to Instagram take you to a site run by Instagram, which has its own privacy practices. If you message us on Instagram, that conversation is also governed by Instagram's policies.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and sources bring people to the site, and the Meta Pixel to measure how many visitors send an order request. These tools may set cookies and receive technical information such as your IP address, device and the pages you view. They do not receive what you type into the order form. You can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker.
How long we keep it
We keep your request and order details for as long as we need them to handle your order and keep records, and we delete them when you ask us to, unless we are required to keep them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message us on Instagram at @honeysweettreatsco or send a new request through the order form and we will follow up.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
